Ah, but "y'all" isn't an acronym; it's a contraction. So, no apostrophe on y'all unless it's possessive, as in, "How are y'all likin' y'all's new pickup truck?"

Can you post it on YouTube?

hi donna, it is not you, it is me! i posted all three of them in a big clump, and evilly forged the dates to be approximately when the events occurred rather than when i actually put the posting. i myself use bloglines.com for RSS reading.

That looks wonderful and you have my envy.

This is more just a side note: I became all inspired and got an RSS reader program in an attempt to be able to see your blog (and a few others) when the messages come in. It has worked rather well for the other blogs but yet again I got your last three in a big clump, seemingly unrelated to the posting date, despite the rss reader. Is it me?

Plant looks like what I've always heard is rape. We saw large fields of it while driving around Canada. It is the source for canola oil. I just looked up 'colza'in the dictionary, and it turns out to be a more generic family, of which rape is a member.

So... why is the plant called 'colza' or 'rape', but the oil called 'canola'? It's a mystery to me.
